How was IISM established?
IISM is the brainchild of Ex-Indian Cricketer Mr. Nilesh Kulkarni and his wife Mrs. Rasika Kulkarni, an event industry stalwart. Back in early 2000, big sports events like IPL used to appoint only UK-based professionals to perform managerial tasks, which intrigued the founders to think about building a platform for Indian talents. And that’s how establishing a Sports Management Institute came into the vision, and shortly it became the reality, and the first institute for sport & management was founded on Indian soil. Since then, the International Institute of Sports & Management (IISM) has been a leading name in the Sports Education industry, pioneering young minds in India and globally.
