Sports play an integral part in shaping our lives as it teaches you to have the right attitude; after all, you learn how to lose and strike back in sports. For a country that worship sports, National Sports Day is considered to be a significant occasion. This day is celebrated on the birthday of Shri. Dhyan Chand, a hockey player who won three gold medals for India between 1928 to 1964. On this occasion, we salute the spirit of sports and sports heroes.

We at the International Institute of Sports Management celebrated the National Sports Day at our campus by organizing Intra-IISM Sports Competition for our students. The event received an overwhelming response as nearly 180+ students participated in diverse sports activities like Foosball, Carrom, Table Tennis and Fitness challenges.

We were glad to see that IISM students showcased utmost enthusiasm and sportsman spirit in the activities which made the occasion an unforgettable memory. Sports are a symbol of patriotism and unity. Moreover, it teaches you how to handle defeat. By organizing such activities for our students, we intended to unite our students, spark healthy competition amongst them and appreciate the winners and learn from defeat in games.
