Pro Kabaddi League Dethrones Cricket in BARC Ratings

Cricket is now getting serious competition in the sporting leagues with week 32 of BARC ratings showing a remarkable rise in viewership of Pro Kabaddi league. That was in the second week of running. Star Sports First, recently being launched grew on the strength of Pro Kabaddi viewership in urban and rural areas and has retained its position in comparison to Cricketing Sony Ten network.
Week 32 of BARC ratings, states Star sports got over 206 million impressions compared to any other channel viewership. The new inception of Pro Kabaddi league has fans following and business honchos looking forward to more of such events and leagues at Pan India level. However, as easy as it looks, its kind of little difficult where Cricket is the only religion any sports guy follows in India. But slowly the cards are changing and we should look forward if same viewership is built open with India-Australia series that is going to be aired on Star Network from the 17th of this month.
